Therapeutic Massage in Denver's West Highlands

Therapeutic massage is the heart of what I do. It's not a fixed routine — it's a session built around your body on the day you come in, whether that means slow, focused work on a stubborn knot, broader relaxation to unwind a hard week, or a blend of both. With 24 years of hands-on experience in deep tissue and injury rehabilitation, I tailor the pressure and the pace to what you actually need.

Who it's for

If you sit at a desk and your neck and shoulders pay for it, if your low back tightens after long days or long drives, if you're recovering from an injury or managing tension that keeps coming back — this is the session for you. It's equally right for someone who just needs to genuinely relax and reset. You don't have to arrive knowing the 'right' technique; you only have to tell me what's bothering you.

What a session looks like

We start with a few minutes of conversation about what's going on and what you want from the hour. Then you're on the table, warm and fully draped, and I work through the areas that need it — checking in on pressure as we go. Firm and focused where your body is stuck, lighter and flowing where it needs to settle. You can ask for more or less at any point; that's exactly how we find the pressure that helps.

Deep tissue, relaxation, or both

People often ask whether they should book 'deep tissue' or 'something relaxing.' The honest answer is that pressure isn't all-or-nothing, and most good sessions move between firmer and lighter work. Tell me where you land — 'please spend the whole time on my shoulders' or 'I just want to zone out' — and I'll build the session around it. Available in 30-, 50-, and 80-minute sessions; the longer ones give more time for both focused work and full-body relaxation.

Common Questions

Will it hurt?

Good deep work should feel like a satisfying, productive ache — never sharp pain that makes you brace. I check in on pressure throughout, and you can always ask me to ease off. If you'd rather avoid any next-day soreness, just say so at the start.

How often should I come in?

It depends on your goals. For a specific problem area, a few closer-together sessions can help; for general maintenance and stress, many clients come every few weeks. We can talk through what makes sense for you.

What do I wear?

You undress to your level of comfort and are covered by a sheet and blanket the entire time — I only uncover the area I'm actively working on. Most people undress fully; keeping underwear on is completely fine too.
